Adopt Highland Cows & Guided Tour Package
The Scottish Highlands wouldn’t be the same without these iconic creatures! Our three Highland cows live at the Highland Titles Nature Reserve in Duror, near Glencoe. By adopting, you’re contributing to the wellbeing of all of these gentle giants.
Your Personal Cow Experience
Receive a beautiful A5 gold-foiled adoption certificate, which, when scanned with your mobile device, connects you to your very own digital Highland cows. You’ll also gain access to an exclusive members' area, regularly updated with the latest news and information about the cows.
About Our Boys
The first twin boys, Andy and Ewan, were born after their mother gave birth for the first time. Sadly, she couldn't produce enough milk and abandoned them. Shannon, who used to work at the Highland Titles Nature Reserve, took them in as orphans and contacted us to see if we could offer them a home - which we gladly did.
Our third cow, Donald was rescued just in time - previously destined for slaughter, he was unwanted and overlooked. Thanks to your support, he’s now thriving as the latest addition to our Highland family.
How Your Donation Helps
Your support contributes to:
- Feed: Ensuring a balanced diet for the cows.
- Veterinary Care: Covering regular check-ups and treatments.
- Shelter: Providing safe, comfortable housing, especially during harsh weather.
The Role of Highland Cows
These gentle giants play a vital role in maintaining the land’s biodiversity. Their grazing promotes the growth of native plants, supporting local wildlife. By adopting, you’re helping conserve this unique environment.
